Once the lump is interacted with, the quest will complete, awarding a number of metal ores (including black titanium ore) which can be smelted at a chemist workshop for their corresponding scraps for use in crafting. Crouching helps as the hit box for the lump is closer to eye level. Note that the lump can be difficult to spot, as it will move grass, trees etc up with it, and you have to be looking almost straight down to interact with it. No special equipment is needed (such as shovel or pick axe). Once you have traveled there, a small lump will be present on the ground, look at it and interact with it.
